Kavanaugh Conference & Retreat Center
Kavanaugh was founded in 1875 by Bishop H. H. Kavanaugh who had a dream to carve out a piece of God’s creation and maintain it as a place for ministry, renewal, and fellowship. Times have changed, but we are still carrying out Bishop Kavanaugh’s dream on 55 acres of creation affectionately referred to as “Holy Ground”.
Approximately 37 acres of our beautiful facility is designated forest land where you will find walking trails and benches along these trails for rest, reflection, prayer or simply taking in the sights and sounds of the woods.
Kavanaugh's "Holy Ground" includes hotel style, cottage style, and dormitory-style housing accommodations. We can provide teambuilding opportunities, and operate a ministry known as Mission Basecamp which hosts your group, connects you to a mission experience, and provides some programming and worship for your team. Kavanaugh also has some great conference space. Check us out at https://campkavanaugh.org/
On the grounds, you will find a place for a game of volleyball, horseshoes, softball, space for bonfires, hay rides, and more to make your stay here enjoyable and memorable.
