Trinita, CT
Trinita’s location in beautiful northwest Connecticut provides a calm and peaceful retreat atmosphere. Its rustic simplicity gives youth and adults a chance to get out of their ordinarily busy lifestyle, and enjoy some time of fun and reflection.
In addition to our regularly scheduled events, the Trinita staff is able to offer a variety of program formats designed to meet the specific needs of individual groups. In addition, Trinita hosts many groups who bring their own facilitators.
We offer:
Sponsored Programs: These are programs held at Trinita that are designed specifically and exclusively for your group and facilitated by our staff member(s). We work with your group leader to plan the program around the individual group’s needs.
Hosted Programs: These are programs that are held at Trinita but are planned and facilitated by the group’s regular leader or another outside facilitator. The program is planned and coordinated by the group’s leader without the assistance of the Trinita staff.
Off-Site Programs: These are programs that are designed and facilitated by our staff member(s) but are held at the group’s regular meeting site or another off-site location.
The Main House:
1 large meeting room with a flat screen television and DVD player, or an LCD projector with screen so you can show a PowerPoint or movie. You can also celebrate Mass in this area.
1 smaller meeting room for either a small group session or a smaller number of people.
Our dining room, where the coffee is always on. Your entire group can eat their meals together or when it isn’t meal time, use this space as another meeting room.
The main house also has 1 dorm room that can sleep 6. You will need to bring your own sheets and blankets or sleeping bags and pillows to any of our sleeping areas.
The Lodge
The Lodge is a large open area for large group gatherings, a place to celebrate Mass, or to gather around by the fireplace. You can also enjoy some recreation time, playing Ping-Pong, football, or listening to music
The Cabins
Trinita has 4 cabins. Each cabin has 12 beds, 1 bathroom, and 1 shower area. Cabins can be used all year long, even in the cold winter months of Connecticut.
