With 35 years experience in health care mission leadership, chaplaincy, pastoral ministry and theological reflection, I am very interested in work in a setting where I can be more in touch with creation and more deeply effect sustainable, renewable community rooted in embodied spirituality.
I have led mission, ethics and community benefit efforts in an acute care hospital, supervised and supported lay pastoral directors, coordinator and associates in 0 states, and have been involved in lay ministry leadership in the U.S. I founded a Catholic mission church, rooted in the soil and cultures of a rural county in Tennessee. I facilitated care for community systems on many levels, including interfaith action for justice, partnership with the poor, and outreach to the immigrant community. I led efforts to build a passive solar earth-friendly church and community center.
I have Master's degrees in Christian Spirituality and English with an emphasis in creative writing. I have additional training in Clinical Pastoral Education (at the Supervisory level) plus community organizing, spiritual direction and eco-church ministry. I have twice won awards for ministries and facilities that take seriously the call for responsible stewardship of the earth.
I would like to partner with like minded people to honor the integrity of all creatures, the dignity of all cultures and the sacredness of all spiritual paths that lead to greater awareness of God and self and greater love of others and the earth that we share. Such a ministry would practice a hands-off, circular form of leadership with a deep appreciation of the gifts and skills of all involved. It would be centered in the natural world and grounded in contemplative compassion for the human communtiy in all of its beauty. As I contemplate easing toward retiremtne, I envision a committed team and a broad-based collaboration to seek justice and peace within, and throughout the web of life.
I am glad to converse further about mutual dreams: firstname.lastname@example.org.

My family and I recently relocated to the Phoenix area. I am seeking a position within the retreat community that will afford me the opportunity to use my management, program, development, marketing and communication skills to enhance the visibility and viability of an organization, but also my theological training that informs my thoughts and actions.
I have 25+ years of experience in administration (both parish and nonprofit). Excellent oral and written communication skills. And have worked effectively with a diversity of people in a professional and collegial manner. I have raised one million dollars plus for small non-profits over the years.
I am formerly a Lutheran clergyman, turned Episcopalian. I have both a Masters Degree in Divinity and Theology. My doctoral studies were at St. David's University College, Lampeter, Wales. My experience includes serving on various boards and committees, president of a congregation and volunteering at many levels of congregational life.

I am a middle aged single white lady. I have an associate degree in respiratory therapy, and I am registered with 10 years of experience .At this time I am unemployed...and I'm in a rut with my life style. I have gained some weight and I am unhealthy from eating unhealthy food. I am wanting to do a work exchange for free room and board for a month, year, or what ever works out...for ever maybe. I don't have anything holding me back. I've done many odd jobs before I went to college. Right now I have no concern about money...only my health. Before I moved from Birmingham alabama to Talladega County I was very healthy because I ate organic food and excercised almost daily. I want my health back , and I'm willing to do what it takes. I also want to earn merrit points for alternative medicine for detox and stress relief.

We are a mature, young at heart, energetic couple who have just celebrated 30 years of marriage. Our compatibility and harmony have allowed us to work side by side for most of those years. For nearly 20 years, we lived the RV lifestyle traveling between Arizona and Wisconsin, where we have a summer business (cleaning service). At this point in time, we are ready to settle in one place and enjoy the 4 seasons. For this reason we are seeking a long-term caretaker (and more) position which will use the talents and skills we have honed over the years.
In exchange, we will require furnished and comfortable living quarters in a quiet and natural setting with a salary compatible with what we are now earning from our current employment. Perks are always a nice plus :~)
We are willing to give 110% of ourselves to the right people; and in return demand fairness and an understanding of our needs and wants. We are always open to negotiate a situation which is compatible to all concerned. Ideally, we would like to combine those skills and talents that are advantageous to what your needs are.
Both of us enjoy excellent health, vitality and energy, (no bad habits or addictions), due in part to Linda’s Holistic Health Practices and also regular exercise, body work, nutrition, positive thinking, etc.
Other Talents, Skills, & Abilities:
Newsletter writing, Events Coordinator, Great Organizer, Advertising, Computer Graphics, Group Leadership, and More.
We look forward to connecting with and meeting the perfect people for us and enjoying a long-term and fruitful working relationship.

Rev. Juliet Nightingale ~ Seeking live/work situation at a retreat centre - Posted 2/18/2008
I am a multi-faceted and creative person from the UK who's currently residing in rural New England. I'd like to find a situation where I can live and work at a retreat or other centre or B&B where I can live the contemplative life centred in spirit and be away from the city. I am a counsellor/minister, coach, spiritual advisor, Reiki practitioner, facilitator of discussion/support groups centred on near-death experiences (NDEs), speaker, and radio show host. I'm also a writer, artist, and musician and really enjoy being creative. I've got I've got a strong background in both print and broadcast media.
Living in harmony with Spirit and nature is important to me and, in this day and age where people live isolated lives of alienation and insolence, there is a real need for community, co-operation and co-creationespecially now. I'm striving to find a situation where I can live in a peaceful settingsuch as a retreat or B&Band offer my many skills and services to help support the facility as well as continuing to fulfil my own practice in counselling, healing, media work and offering support to those who are seekers and honour the sacred work I've been called to do. A work exchange situation would be ideal for me.
I've managed B&Bs in past, so I do understand the dynamics involved there. I am very adept in the office, bookings, administrative, management, media and advertising, design, etc., and I make the best pot of tea! I have got excellent communications, interpersonal, organisational and motivational skills.
Currently, I'm feeling most drawn to an area by the water, but I'm open to any reasonable offer and am pleased to provide references as well. For more information about me and the work that I do, please visit my websites. I look forward to hearing from you and promise to respond. Thank you kindly!

I have returned to Ananda several times for short stays. I am living there now but am leaving , possibly within a few days and am looking for both short and long term opportunities beginning as soon as possible to now. I am intelligent and need to be in nature. Before joining a retreat center I ran a business for 11 years in New York City, and also taught in public elementary schools both in the city and in upstate New York. I have graduate degrees in Applied Psychology (Counseling) and in Psychology and Education. I am looking for a place to serve that feels open and supportive of Mother Earth and other beings, human and otherwise. I am seeking a spiritual center - retreat center, monastery, church, synagogue, or place of spiritual contemplation - to care for part time (or seasonal) in exchange for living accommodations if available.
I spent most of my young adult life caring for estates, working on landscaping crews, on horse farms and construction crews in Connecticut and New York. I have a wide range of experience with the tools of each of these trades and I am a strong manager and self starter. My desire is to care for a place that fosters spiritual growth.
I am a college graduate who is now working freelance in the web casting industry. I travel a couple of times a month on a very flexible schedule and would have at least a couple of days a week to dedicate myself to these services. Please contact me with any opportunity as I am open to all arrangements

Rev. Juliet Nightingale ~ Seeking live/work situation at a retreat centre in eastern or Northwest US - Posted 7/8/2006
I am a multi-faceted and creative person from the UK who’s currently residing in Nashville, Tennessee. However, I have fulfilled my work here and it is time to move on. I’d like to find a situation where I can live and work at a retreat or other centre or B&B where I can live a more contemplative life centred in spirit and be away from the city. I am a counsellor/minister, coach, spiritual advisor, Reiki practitioner, facilitator of discussion/support groups centred on near-death experiences (NDEs), speaker, and radio show host. I’m also a writer, artist, and musician and really enjoy being creative. I’ve got my professional digital piano, ‘Bliss’.
Living in harmony with Spirit and nature is important to me and, in this day and age where people live isolated lives of alienation and insolence, there is a real need for community, co-operation and co-creationespecially now. I’m striving to find a situation where I can live in a peaceful settingsuch as a retreat or B&Band offer my many skills and services to help support the facility as well as continuing to fulfil my own practice in counselling, healing and offering support to those who are seekers and honour the sacred work I’ve been called to do. A work exchange situation would be ideal for me.
I’ve managed B&Bs in past, so I do understand the dynamics involved there. I am very adept in the office, bookings, administrative, management, media and advertising, design, etc., and I make the best pot of tea! I have got excellent communications, interpersonal, organisational and motivational skills.
Currently, I’m feeling most drawn to the north-east or north-west by the water, but I’m open to any reasonable offer and am pleased to provide references as well. For more information about me and the work that I do, please visit my website. I look forward to hearing from you and promise to respond. Thank you kindly!

Judith ~ Visit Montana - Posted 6/14/2006
Montana is a state I have always wanted to visit. I was told to stay away because I am an American with African ancestry. I love people and I do not believe everyone in Montana are racist. I plan to purchase a Greyhound Pass at the end of June and explore Montana I have money for food, but hotels will break my budget, so I would like to have some wonderful Montana folks to pick me up from the Greyhound Station and allow me to rest, shower and visit a day or two before I move on to another Montana City. I offer the same to those who want to visit Chicago, Illinois. I live near Six Flags in Gurnee and the Great Lakes Naval Base. I was born in Chicago, so I can be your host.
I am a sixty-three year young widow, who retired in 2001, but in 2004, I started working part-time teaching English to Spanish speakers and last month, I finished my BS in Education. I love people and I consider the world my home. I am on a limited income now, so if I can get a bed and shower, then I can buy food and pay for gas for little tours in exchange. Please feel free to publish this e-mail and my e-mail address. (firstname.lastname@example.org)
People ask if I have relatives in Montana, but I consider all Montanans my relatives. I have read intensively about the state, and would love to stay with any family that will adopt me for a day or two and get me back to Greyhound and my next "family."
