Tranquility Ridge is ideally suited for private multi-family compound; summer camp center; church camp; immersive rehabilitation center, etc. Situated on 49+ acres surrounded by thousands of acres of stated owned forest land, this is a place to get away from it all, yet its easily accessible to Greensboro as well as Raleigh-Durham. County Line Creek flows on one side, marking the boundary and the rest are thick woodlands.
Within the 49 acres, you'll find eight cabins. Five of these are basic log veneer structures with a/c, but no plumbing. They share a three bath bath house that includes a laundry room. Two of the eight are slightly larger and feature full bathrooms. The largest is the Caretaker's Cabin which features a bedroom, full kitchen, bath and living room. There are also several large RV's with bump outs available for guests.
The property was designed to be self-sustainable for several families seeking shelter in times of crisis. The Community Center is at the heart of the property and can accomodate up to 50 people at a time for classes or meals. There's a large kitchen fully supplied with all cutlery, cookware, stemware, etc. There is also a communications center complete with a HAM radio center including a 100' radio tower. There are areas for gardening and components for a large greenhouse. A spring fed stocked pond can provide recreation as well as a protein source. For those wishing to hone their skills, a shooting range is located on the property. The property comes completely furnished and loaded with large amount of personal property. Example, all the electronics for the HAM radio operations, a library of books and games, furnishings, tools, medical supplies all convey.
