Whether for a family reunion, youth or spiritual retreat, Bar/Bat Mitzvah, weddings, corporate conference, or educational symposium, our natural setting allows groups to focus on goals and objectives without distractions.
Located in historic Wimberley in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, just 40 minutes south of Austin and 1 hour from San Antonio, CYJ Retreats will allow you to get away from home without the hassle of travelling too far
240 acres of natural rolling terrain, 5-acre refreshingly cool lake, wealth of oak trees, a complete high and low challenge course, 3 wacky waterslides, and grazing deer create the setting for groups looking for a modern retreat center with a camp-like atmosphere.

Seasoned programming, hospitality and catering staff customize every event to meet the group’s needs. Whether you are planning a meeting in our state of the art Conference Center, looking to celebrate a special occasion, or your desire is to create a group bonding experience, the CYJ Retreat & Conference Center has it all.

CYJ offers three lodging options accommodating over 370 people!

  • THE LODGE has 20 double occupancy rooms, including a main lounge area with a kitchen, TV, and game room. This building comfortably sleeps 40 people and is a popular site for a hospitality area.
  • The 20 air-conditioned/heated CABINS provide large group housing. Each cabin has its own bathroom, with multiple sinks, toilets and private showers.They are equipped with comfortable beds, and there is ample space to store clothing and personal items Most cabins house 15 to 20 people.
  • The HEALTH CENTER is the perfect place to house large families or groups that like to stretch their legs and enjoy the comforts of home. This complex has 4 bedrooms and 3 baths, including a master bedroom, kitchen, laundry room, living room and 2 porches. The Health Center houses 8 people.

Retreats - We are open all year. Most groups come for a weekend, Friday evening through Sunday morning. Groups provide their own program, speakers, music, clergy and counselors.

Construction has been completed on the new Conference Center and Chapel! The conference room has a beautiful rock fireplace, beverage bar, stage, sound system and ample restrooms. It will accommodate 120 guests!

The highlight of the chapel is a clear glass cross window. It is a great place for quiet time alone with God or a rocking praise & worship service! The Chapel accommodates up to 180.

Namaste is a Sanskrit word meaning the Divine in me honors the Divine in you. It was chosen as my name because I want to honor the differences in each of us while sharing our common underlying beliefs.
Located 20 miles north of San Antonio and 100 miles west of Austin in the Texas hill country this lovely property overlooks the natural bluffs carved out by Cibolo Creek, and backs up to a nature conservatory. We offer day retreat space and overnight accommodations. Two kitchens are available for your use or we can provide meals.
The space began as two houses, one being built in the 1940’s. The charm of the era remains with a period kitchen and a claw foot tub in one bath. This section sleeps 12 is connected to the newer wing with a large dining room, covered porch and deck.
A large conference room with open kitchen and attached sunken living room, bedroom and bath make up the newer west wing. This is an ideal venue for small groups to hold meetings, workshops or overnights retreats. You may bring your own organized retreat or we can personalize one for you.

The 4-H Conference Center provides a living and learning environment in a natural setting where 4-H and other youth groups learn life, leadership and citizenship skills.

Greene Family Camp, located in Central Texas, offers year-round conference and retreat center facilities at an affordable price. For over 30 years GFC has been hosting a variety of groups including religious groups, sport teams, universities and youth programs.

With over 168-acres, GFC provides groups with a natural and peaceful environment. The staff is dedicated to the success of every group and will make each experience unique. Green was built to build community and help groups connect. Away from noisy and bright distractions, the camp atmosphere allows participants a special opportunity to live, work and eat together.

Meeting Spaces

  • GFC Theater: The GFC Theater is great for performances or large meetings, accommodating up to 400 people seated in stackable chairs. Not only does the theater have a fully-equipped proscenium thrust stage with main drape, border, and cyclorama curtains, but it also has stage lighting available, including a follow spot and programmable light board.
  • Breakout Rooms: Greene Family Camp has many smaller rooms and areas for more intimate meeting spaces, including two conference rooms directly across from the dining hall, a library, the fireplace lounge in the Faculty Center – perfect for lectures, meetings, and small social gatherings, and the “band-stand” meeting pagoda.
  • Outdoor Chapel: The Chapel is an outdoor amphitheater with seating for up to 500 on benches and a partially-covered stage area. Both the audience and stage area may be lit for evening use.

Dining: The service center is one of GFC’s newest additions, located near the main entrance.

  • The two dining rooms in the center are comfortably climate controlled with full A/C, heat, and ceiling fans.
  • The optional-use serving area separates the new state-of-the-art kitchen from the dining rooms.
  • The larger dining room is equipped with a lighted stage, premium stereo sound system, stacking chairs and folding banquet tables – perfect for meetings, programs, or dinner!
  • The smaller dining area also serves as GFC’s Staff Lounge.

Way of the Wolf Ranch was purchased by us in 1994. When we welcomed our first guests in this Texas hill country B&B in October of the same year, we knew our desire was to provide a memorable visit for our guests. We continue to experience the joy of sharing this dream with our guests.

Our comfortable facilities:
We can accommodate up to 17 individuals with double occupancy. Each room has two beds and we have extra accommodation in the civil war cabin and in one side of the restored Amish barn. Each of these two units has a lofted area above the lower level. There are 4 buildings with decors to match: Ranch House, Civil War Cabin, Barn Crib and Barn Loft. In addition, Sophia’s Barn, our conference and teaching center, offers flexible space for meetings, teaching or just lounging on a quiet day.
Retreats and Spiritual Direction
Way of the Wolf Ranch invites you to consider the use of this beautiful facility during your planning for individual or small group spiritual retreat. You may provide your own material or we will work with you to specifically design a program around your interests. This setting lends itself to meditation, contemplation, reflection and re-creation.
Your hosts, Ron & Karen, have formal training in spiritual direction from the Shalem Institute of Spiritual Formation in Bethesda, Maryland, and have led several groups introducing contemplative prayer forms.

Part of Casa Puente’s mission is to be a gathering place for people and organizations in the El Paso/Juárez community that share in the common goals of working for a more just and peaceful world.

The first floor of the house is a space that has a variety of uses. It includes a large, fully stocked kitchen as well as a dining room that can seat up to 20 people. There are two full bathrooms. We have a spacious, comfortable living room that can accommodate 15-20 people. There are also two large bedrooms that are furnished with a total of 14 beds and all linens. The house is equipped with phone service, cable, and wireless Internet.
