The Emrich Retreat Center provides a peaceful and serene natural setting that enables religious and other groups to explore spiritual growth, education, and community-building.
The Emrich Retreat Center at Parishfield is an ideal location for your retreat, family reunion, business meeting, wedding reception, or other event. Located on 26 acres in the rural Brighton area, Emrich is just minutes from highways, but feels like a world apart. Nestled among 5,000 acres of state park land on a quiet country road, Emrich offers meeting space for small or large groups, and overnight accommodations for 90 people in restored, historic buildings.
Emrich offers affordable pricing for everyone, and special rates for non-profit and religious groups. Groups can rent one building or several, for a few hours or for several days or weeks.
The facility consists of four buildings with overnight accommodations, a chapel/library building, and several other buildings, such as the caretaker's house and an office/garage.
Accommodations and meeting rooms are simple, clean, and spacious. Buildings were built in the 1940s and 1950s and retain a rustic charm. Guest rooms have no phones or televisions, and bathrooms are shared.
On-site amenities include a volleyball net, basketball hoops, a fire ring, walking trails, and access to state trails.

The Franciscan Life Process Center, 230 acres of woods and farmland, offers guests opportunities to reflect on seasonal cycles. Retreatants may wish to experience a given cycle through a guided project.
Private Retreats, lasting a day or more, provide time for quiet reflection and prayer, with the option to pray with the Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist or join the Community for Tuesday and/or Thursday evening meals.
Directed Retreats offer the additional support of meeting daily with a Franciscan Guide who assists in the process of listening to God. The primary resource for reflection and meditation is Scripture.

Welcome
Come to a place apart -- a place in the world but, occasionally, not of it. Come for the quiet, or come for community. Each has a place here.
At our conference and retreat center, we offer spiritually enriching programs and bring nationally known speakers to Nazareth. These are attended by people who are seeking to connect with the deeper meaning and purpose of their lives. Individuals come for personal retreats that may last for a day, a few days, or up to 30 days.
Our retreatants can plan their own retreats, or arrange for time with one of our spiritual directors for as much or as little as they would like.
Our 55-acre campus includes hiking trails that traverse field, woods, and marshland. In short, Transformations is a place where you can bring your unique and personal spiritual search and find the means for progress on your journey.
Facility Rental : Conferences, Meetings, Retreats
Each year groups rent space to conduct their own retreats, training sessions, meetings and conferences. Transformations has meeting rental space for up to 200; full food service and updated technologies like wi-fi.
Guest Rooms
Guest Rooms accommodate more than 50 people, double occupancy. Each room is air conditioned and has one or two single beds, and a private bathroom with shower.
Transformations Spirituality Center is located in Nazareth, Michigan, just 10 minutes from Kalamazoo. It’s in Southwestern Michigan, midway between Chicago and Detroit. When using mapping software programs, please reference our Kalamazoo address for the best results.
