• Open Air Tabernacle - The Tabernacle seats 350 + people, and has a recently remodeled 7 ft. stage.

Believing that our world provides too little time and space for listening to God and that prayer is central to the Christian life, we offer these retreats as time set aside for dialogue with God, meditation, and contemplation.

To add to the enjoyment of your stay, we have an excellent Massage Therapist on site. Beckie Berez, RN, CMT treats the whole person, working for both the integration and balance of body, mind, and spirit. We also offer Spiritual Direction and Yoga Instruction, as well as the services of Am Kolel’s staff of renewal rabbis and spiritual guides.

Rising Phoenix is located on 20 serene acres in the mountains of Western Maryland. We are open to groups, families, businesses and spiritual organizations. The Retreat Center offers an exceptional setting for business meetings, group retreats, individual get-aways and personal renewal.

We are a non-sectarian, non-denomination, non-profit spiritual retreat center in the mountains of western Maryland. Located on 20 acres, we have facilities that can accomodate up to 34 persons overnight and up to 60 persons for meals and gathering. We are open year-round for group and individual usage. We offer optional bodywork (massage, facials, polarity, reflexology). We are known for our nutritious and delicious food - whole grains, fresh vegetables and fruit, low fat, no red meat, organic materials.
