Whatever group you belong to, and whatever kind of meeting space it needs, Kordes invites you to leave your own distraction behind and discover our haven.

Kordes Center is located on the grounds of Monastery Immaculate Conception, home of the Sisters of St. Benedict. Guests of all faiths are welcome to visit and relax in the many serene areas on our campus. A grotto, a lake, and outdoor grass labyrinth, and trailed wooded areas are some of the beautiful, peaceful spots you will find here.

One of the comments we at Kordes hear most often is that our environment, both indoors and out, creates a feeling of being a safe and sacred space. It is a place where groups and individuals can be reflective and get in touch with themselves and their personal and professional journeys.

Open meadows, springs, woodlands, and organically farmed fields surround the dwellings and meetings spaces with sacred presence. Gardens invite guests to wander or rest in the midst of the beauty of every season. Trails and roads provide access to more than 300 acres of field and forest. Indoor spaces reflect the outer majesty creating an atmosphere conducive to contemplation, reflection, and discovery.

Conference Room, Dining and Museum

Built in 1990, Providence Center houses the Sisters of Providence heritage museum and The Gift Shop. Brochures and tour information are available in the center. A diorama display of the history of the Sisters of Providence and the Wall of Memories photo display are located in a hallway connecting Providence Center with the Church of the Immaculate Conception and the Blessed Sacrament Chapel. O'Shaughnessy Dining Room and a small conference room are also located at the center. Over night lodging and rooms are available.

Saint Meinrad Archabbey is nestled among cornfields and rolling hills between Louisville, Kentucky, and Evansville, Indiana; it is conveniently located just off Interstate 64 and ideally suited to prayer and reflection. Enjoy Benedictine hospitality in a contemplative atmosphere with comfortable guestrooms providing a special time and place to be alone with God. You are welcome to attend the prayer services with the monks in the beautiful Archabbey Church.
