Welcome to Camp Manitowa
 Camp Manitowa is a brand new sleep-away summer camp and retreat center in Southern Illinois about 90 minutes from St. Louis, MO. Host your next retreat, outing or team-building meeting at Rend Lake’s Camp Manitowa. Our facilities, renovated in 2010, can accommodate up to 180 overnight guests in yurts, 64 in cabins, and another 24 in eight dorm rooms. Our commercial-grade kitchen and dining hall provide your guests with food service options too.
 We've just completed a million dollar renovation and have excellent accommodations and activity space. We're also surrounded by multiple lakes, state parks, and national forests giving us an amazing natural surrounding that's hard to beat.
Guests sleep in yurt villages. Yurts are huge hut-like structures with a circular base. Combined with our new beds, this is the best communal living space available.
The new 8-element high ropes course and zip line is the best in the region.

Francis of Assisi chose a small place for prayer which came to be called PORTIUNCULA or Small Portion. The PORTIUNCULA Center for Prayer fosters experiences that encourage the integration of body, mind, and spirit. We hereby share in Francis' vision of assisting in the renewal of all God's people.

 Nestled in the lovely wooded 50-acre campus of the Franciscan Sisters of the Sacred Heart, the Portiuncula provides a peaceful environment.
Open, grassy knolls, wooded hiking trails and a small creek invite our guests to enter the solitude for study, prayer, and rest.
Facilities:
- Conference spaces: Comfortable, air-conditioned meeting rooms ideal for groups as small as 2 or as large as 55. A spacious auditorium, seating over 400, is available in a nearby building.
- Overnight Accomodations: 27 clean, simple bedrooms to comfortably accommodate up to 50 overnight guests. Each room has individually controlled air-conditioning. Some of the rooms have private bath facilities
- Dining: Our warm, attractive dining room comfortably seats 55. Home-cooked, cafeteria-style meals focusing on light, heart-healthy menus are featured
- Prayer rooms: The Portiuncula chapel is located in the building, the Queen of Angels Chapel in the Mother House can be used if your group exceeds the capacity for the Portiuncula chapel. The Heritage Chapel, the Sister's original 1870 chapel stands on holy ground behind the Motherhouse.

 Toddhall Retreat and Conference Center is a non-profit, non-denominational retreat center nestled in the bluffs of Columbia, Illinois. Founders Charles and Virginia Todd opened the center in 1982 offering good food and a welcoming Christian atmosphere. Guests provide their own programs and are offered unique opportunities for reflection and renewal. Toddhall offers 5 conference rooms and more than 50 sleeping rooms.
Conveniently located in the St. Louis metropolitan area, guests will enjoy the benefits of retreat at this 45-acre center. Our hope is that your experience at Toddhall will instill peace and well-being and allow you to draw closer to God and nature.

Originally established as a seminary for the Society of the Divine Word, Techny Towers now serves as an ecumenical center for religious, social, educational, service and other nonprofit organizations. For more than 20 years our conference and retreat facility has provided a supportive setting that fosters creativity and strategic thinking.
Techny Towers conference and retreat center serves groups from 10 to 150 with comfortable and well-equipped meeting rooms. There are 50 guest rooms with private baths providing comfortable and quiet accommodations. All are equipped with individually controlled heating and air conditioning. Groups that prefer separate quarters can stay at the 22-room Maria House, a guest house on our grounds.
As an ecumenical center, Techny Towers welcomes all faiths for brief or extended retreats, and two chaplains are available as guides for spiritual direction.
