Winter is the natural season to burrow in, sip something hot and tend to life’s deeper mysteries! If you desire a little wintering stillness, come to Prairiewoods (120 East Boyson Road in Hiawatha) for some peace and quiet, for deepening, for renewal.
This silent directed weekend retreat will provide sacred time and space for you to enter into solitude in the heart of seventy acres of woodland and prairie, held by the beauty of creation. A daily session with a spiritual director will offer an opportunity to listen closely to the Spirit’s movements in your life. As you rest in silence, you may notice many of life’s sweetest gifts, regain a sense of balance, learn to be still and live in the moment. Come for this weekend and savor it all year!
Facilitators Betty Daugherty, FSPA; Ann Jackson, PBVM; Laura Weber; and Lucille Winnike, FSPA, are all spiritual directors on staff at Prairiewoods. They have hosted hundreds of incredible individuals during Silent Directed Retreats over the years, and they will delight in accompanying you on your spiritual odyssey! The cost of this weekend retreat is $230 and includes sessions, daily spiritual direction, lodging and all meals. The commuter fee is $180 and includes sessions, daily spiritual direction, and daily lunch and dinner.
