Immerse yourself in the beauty of nature and reconnect with silence, simplicity, and your Soul. Join us at the tranquil Rolling Meadows and retreat from the quick pace of life for five days of silence, yoga, and meditation. Each morning we will awake to greet the day with meditation, pranayama, and asana. We will use meditation and pranayama to balance the mind and calm the nervous system and pranic (energy) body. Morning yogasana classes will focus on gently building the inner agni (internal fire) to illuminate your true radiant nature.
There is free time throughout the day to enjoy the many walking trails around the Rolling Meadows Retreat, take a swim in the pond, journal, explore personal yoga practice, and just Be. A silent meditation walk will be offered daily in the afternoon. In the early evening there will be a gentle yoga and Yoga Nidra (guided meditation practiced laying down) session.
We will have a period of silent meditation to close each day. Three delicious vegetarian meals are served daily. Private sessions with the teachers can be scheduled during the day.
This five-night retreat begins with an evening meal at 6 pm on Saturday, May 19th and ends at about mid-morning on Thursday, May 23rd after a morning session and breakfast.
