Learn from Jesus' inclusivity and invite all to "come to the center!"
Fr. Tony Gittins, CSSp
Identify the significance of Jesus’ understanding of discipleship as radically inclusive and radically equal in this weekend retreat at Prairiewoods (120 East Boyson Road in Hiawatha). One way of approaching this is to visualize Jesus at the center of a series of concentric circles of people of various social statuses and religious conditions. Then look more closely at some women and men called to discipleship from different circumstances and apply insights to your own contemporary life. Jesus’ invitation to the disciples reaches out to you from across the millennia: “Come to the center!”
