It is our mission to provide a quiet, secluded and safe environment for guests to enjoy the beauty and splendor of the mountains. It is our desire to have the accommodations at Whispering Winds equipped and furnished in such a way that they provide our guests with luxury and beauty as they experience the North Georgia Mountains.
More than 60 acres of land are encompassed by these three nearby properties, all on a historic Georgia farm. Each property is unique and can be rented separately or combined for especially large groups.
The name invokes a quiet, peaceful place where the only noise is air sweeping through the trees, an accurate description of our properties. You might also hear the soothing babble of a nearby creek. This is nature at its finest.
Three properties can be rented individually, or combine them for larger groups.The Appalachian offers a traditional mountain experience for couples or a family in an updated log cabin. Built overlooking Harper Creek, this open floorplan comes with a large stone fireplace and a loft for the kids.
 The newest addition to Whispering Winds Mountain Retreat is White Cliffs. This cozy cabin accommodates up to six people and is decorated in a Southwestern motif. The name comes from the spectacular view of the Chattahoochee National Forest's "White Cliffs." As you take in the beauty of the setting you will notice the abundant wildlife in the area.
The Mountain Lodge is a great place to hold a retreat, build the fellowship of your church group, plan a civic event, or enjoy your family at a reunion. Within the lodge complex 18 people can stay, or expand it up to 30 people by renting one or all three of our vacation rental cabins. The Mountain Lodge is easily configured to meet your specific needs. Bed and breakfast plans are available when you rent a cabin at Whispering Winds.

With accommodations for anywhere from 2 to 30 people, Whispering Winds can provide for you the perfect setting for a variety of events: a Church retreat, a Family reunion, a Business Retreat and Meeting, a group of friends wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of the city for a few days, or a couple just wanting to spend some quiet time together.
