Transformations Spirituality Center is committed to promoting unity, reconciliation and harmony.
Our Vision
As we seek to become a vibrant gathering place for reconciling and unifying love, we will:
Encourage individuals to grow spiritually through developing a deeper sense of reverence in relationship to self, others, nature, earth and God.
Create a peaceful environment where individuals and groups can conduct retreats, conferences, planning sessions or dialogues.
Collaborate with others to develop and provide programming to enhance transformational and spiritual growth.
Transformations is a ministry of the Congregation of St. Joseph of Nazareth, Michigan. Transformations Spirituality Center is located in Nazareth, Michigan, 10 minutes from Kalamazoo in Southwestern Michigan, midway between Chicago and Detroit.

Transformations Spirituality Center is a peaceful place away from the harried pace of everyday life--a place where people from varied faith traditions and walks of life come to be in the solitude of a retreat or in the company of others.

At our conference and retreat center, we offer spiritually enriching programs and bring nationally known speakers to Nazareth. These are attended by people who are seeking to connect with the deeper meaning and purpose of their lives. Individuals come for personal retreats that may last for a day, a few days, or up to 30 days.
Our retreatants can plan their own retreats, or arrange for time with one of our spiritual directors for as much or as little assistance as would make their retreat experience meaningful for them.
Our 55-acre campus includes hiking trails that traverse field, woods, and marshland. In short, Transformations is a place where you can bring your unique and personal spiritual search and find the means for progress on your journey.

Facility Rental : Conferences, Meetings, Retreats
Each year Groups rent space to conduct their own retreats, training sessions, meetings and conferences. Transformation has meeting rental space for up to 200; can accommodate more than 50 overnight guests (double occupancy); and has full food service.

- Assembly/Meeting Rooms (for groups of 2 to 200)
We have five meeting rooms. Some of these rooms can be divided for smaller break-out rooms. The largest room, the Lacy Room, can accommodate up to 200 people. The O'Brien Room works well for groups up to 75. Three small conference-style rooms are suitable for groups from 15-20 each. Full day and half day rates are available. All rooms have individual lighting controls and windows with blinds for natural lighting. Parking is convenient and access is barrier free.
Equipment: VCR, DVD, LCD projector, flip charts, piano, and other items you may need for your event are available for a fee.
Newly remodeled rooms for more than 50 people are available. Rooms are air conditioned and each room has one or two single beds, and a private bath with shower.
Complete food service is available at Transformations. Three meals a Dining day and snacks are prepared by our professional food service staff in our fully-licensed kitchen. The food is wholesome and fresh and served in the main dining room. Service is cafeteria style with up to four service lines when needed. If arranged in advance, groups of 15 to 50 may reserve an adjacent dining room if available.
Or, if you prefer, box lunches can be set up in your meeting room so that the meal is incorporated into the flow of the event. The regular house daily menu offers an ample number of options to meet most dietary needs but selections for special needs can be requested in advance. Groups of 20 or more may select meals from a more extensive catering menu.

Rental Policy
Our conference and retreat center is open to secular and nonsecular, nonprofit and for profit groups, and all who value our commitment to promoting unity, reconciliation and harmony. While hospitality is a fundamental value, we reserve the right to be selective in our rental policy in order to maintain a quiet and peaceful atmosphere consistent with the mission and purpose of our facility.
Our prices are reasonable and competitive. Please call for costs and to make a reservation.
