Location
Halibut Cove is a small island artist community. Art, adventure, fishing and the love for unmatched natural beauty make Halibut Cove an ideal place to live and a popular destination for the discerning traveler. Our summer population nears 100 including 18 working artists. We have art galleries, the Saltry restaurant, a quaint coffeehouse and a floating post office.
Halibut Cove, surrounded by Kachemak Bay State Park, is directly across Kachemak Bay from the small fishing town of Homer, Alaska. Homer is approximately 100 air miles south of Anchorage, or you may choose the scenic drive from Anchorage that takes as long as five hours because of frequent stops for wildlife viewing and breathtaking photo opportunities.

Accomodations
Cozy Cabins
Our meticulously appointed, waterfront log cabins feature locally fashioned quilts, warm flannel sheets and stunning views of nature out every window. Spectacular Alaskan mountains, ocean scenery and marine wildlife abounds.
The Lodge
The heart of Stillpoint overlooks the breathtaking Kenai Mountains as they come down to meet the sea. An indoor creek meanders under a hand-hewn bridge to welcome you. Enjoy 24-hour access to our comfortable lounge with fireplace, wood floor activity room, media center, lending library and men’s and women’s shower facilities. Join our optional daily yoga and meditation, relax in our sauna and treat yourself to a massage.
Sustainable Cuisine
Dine on artistically prepared, health-conscious meals featuring local seasonal ingredients. Our award-winning culinary team lovingly prepares locally sourced seafood including halibut, salmon and Kachemak Bay oysters; lush greens and savory herbs from our organic garden, along with fresh baked breads and signature desserts. Gourmet feasts are served in our glass-walled dining room, overlooking our gardens, pond and waterfall.
Our Hermitage Cabin is set apart from our other cabins and is intended for individuals or couples seeking solitude for more intentional creativity and/or spirituality. This special place is self-contained with a full size bed, living room, full private bath and kitchenette.
Private Retreats provide time for you in a supportive and contemplative atmosphere. Our staff will support your intentions for silence and/or solitude.
Directed Individual Retreats can be a little more structured. A spiritual director is available to listen as a supportive person and may act as a guide on your inner journey. The frequency of sessions varies depending on the individual. Creative journaling, dream work and artistic outlets can be integral parts of the retreat process.
