Only two hours from downtown Toronto, Still Life Retreat is set on a private lake and surrounded by 92 luxurious acres of gardens, woodlands, meadows and spring-fed ponds. Open year-round, we are located in the Grey-Bruce region of southern Ontario.

Your retreat is a time for renewal, refreshment, encouragement and healing. Personal ministry focuses on healing your heart and overcoming shame, guilt, anger, bitterness and unforgiveness, so you may experience revival and freedom in Christ.

The safe, home-like atmosphere of the retreat will enable you to open you heart to the Lord. Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we minister to drug and alcohol addiction, co-dependency, control issues, death and divorce and many other painful issues. We welcome individuals, couples and groups of under twenty.

Four spacious bedrooms with private bathrooms sleep 16 or are converted to sleep couples in California king sized beds. The two main floor rooms have private entrances out to decks. Two additional rooms are available with bathrooms. One is a suite with a queen-sized bed. The other contains a double.

The grounds include 8 large flower gardens, a herb and vegetable garden, an apple orchard, extensive woodlands and meadows, and three spring ponds.The kitchen and dining area has a wide open concept and includes a wood burning cook-stove. Nutritious gourmet meals are cooked with lots of love and care. Only the best foods are served, including fresh trout from our lake, home-tapped maple syrup, organically grown vegetables and fresh picked apples.

Still Life Retreat is in the heart of the Saugeen Country, just north off Grey Road 12 between Durham on highway 6 and Markdale on highway 10. We're 30 minutes south of Owen Sound at the foot of the Bruce Peninsula and 90 minutes north-west of Toronto.
