Enjoy both the serenity of a retreat environment and all the comforts of an elegant bed and breakfast at our magnificent, spacious 1902 brownstone Queen Anne located near the center of historic Hanover, PA. Our B&B retreat center features stained glass windows, inlaid oak floors, and six comfortable guest rooms, five with private baths. We specialize in providing unique retreat and meeting accommodations for small groups (less than 20).

Our spacious sunroom, living room, and dining room, which are interconnected by the grand foyer, provide ample floor space and flexibility for a multitude of group uses. For example, all of the furniture can be easily removed from the living room to create a large open space for movement activities, such as yoga. The meditation room and contemplation garden serve to help our guests relax in a tranquil atmosphere of peace and beauty.

We have a variety of meal plans, offering one, two or three meals per day. Guests help themselves to complimentary snacks and beverages, day or night, in our sunroom. Wireless internet is available throughout the facility. |

Located on the road upon which Union and Confederate Cavalries clashed during the Battle of Hanover, we are only minutes from the hallowed ground of Gettysburg National Military Park and the first capital of the USA, York, PA. During your stay, you may wish to stroll our historic tree-lined street, hike or meditate in the sun at Lake Marburg (only minutes from the inn), or explore the covered bridges and Amish farms of Lancaster County. Hanover is convenient to the Washington beltway (1.5 hours), the Baltimore beltway (1 hour), and Philadelphia (2.5 hours).

| Shining Dawn Retreat Programs - Shining Dawn facilitators periodically offer workshops based upon group explorations in consciousness. Groups typically range in size between 8 - 14 participants. Groups are open to all, regardless of religious or philosophical perspective. We celebrate the common principles that are the essential core of all spirituality. |
