We welcome you to Sedona’s most comprehensive full service retreat facility to rejuvenate and heal your body, mind and spirit. Sedona Mago Retreat is operated by Tao Fellowship, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization established in 1998 to promote the spirit of Tao as a principle of harmony and peace.

Nestled among 160 acres of vast and awe-inspiring land, powerful vortexes and dramatic red rock formations lies idyllic Sedona Mago Retreat. The staff at Sedona Mago Retreat live, practice and teaches the ways of Tao. We offer the peace, serenity and zen-like atmosphere of a spiritual retreat, combined with the comfort of 126 tastefully decorated rooms, 10 different meeting/yoga rooms, a dining hall with 4-course buffet style meals daily. WI-FI internet service is available throughout the facility.

Accommodations: 126 rooms and 6 suites, designed Frank Lloyd style, perfectly blending within the red rocks. Rooms have two double beds, full bathrooms, vanity, and a small refrigerator. There are no TV or phones in the rooms for the benefit of our guests. Each suite features 2 queen size beds, Jacuzzi-bath, bar/kitchenette, large living room to entertain guests, as well as a patio carved into the red rocks.

Meeting Rooms: Sedona Mago Retreat has the most extensive and advanced meeting space in Sedona. We have 10 different sizes meeting rooms, varying from 15 500 people. All meeting rooms are equipped with advance audio-visual equipment. Meeting rooms have a soft, wooden floor, ideal for yoga groups and workshops.
Dining Room: Our dining staff prepares health-conscious, pesco-vegetarian meals that include fish. Our food is naturally prepared and features seasonal fruits and vegetables that come straight from our organic garden. We support the surrounding community by using locally-grown produce as much as possible. Our dining room accommodates up to 150 people. Meals are served extensive 4-course buffet style.

Welcome Center: This is our registration desk, as well as a gift shop featuring meditation/yoga items, toiletries, necessities, clothing and snacks. The Welcome Center also hosts our lounge, open 24 hours for guests enjoyment.
Organic Garden: Our organic garden is a rich desert oasis. All natural and organic, it bears healthy, nutrient-rich foods. Our meals are prepared with our organic vegetables.
Pool and Jacuzzi: Our outdoor pool and Jacuzzi has a capacity for 60 people and is surrounded by dramatic vistas: majestic rock formations and stunning starlight panoramic views at night.
Meditation Lake: The Meditation Lake is the “heart” of Sedona Mago Retreat, directly below one of the major vortexes surrounding our facility. A Zen-like garden, with colorful flowers, surrounds a gentle, peaceful lake, a mellow fountain a waterfall, willow trees it is the perfect setting to meditate with nature, or simply sit and enjoy the scenery, listening to the peace all around. As you walk into the adjacent herb garden, your whole body and mind is cleansed by the scents and sounds that surround you.
Vortexes: We have 12 vortexes surrounding our facility. A vortex is a place on the Earth where unusual amounts of subtle electromagnetic energy flow through. Of the Earth’s 21 known vortexes, five are in Sedona. Sedona Mago Retreat’s vortexes are ideal places for meditation and relaxation.
Waterfalls: 2 small natural waterfalls carved into the red rocks, flow into our Meditation Lake and herb garden. This is another idyllic setting to meditate as you listen to the sounds of the water.
