Quinipet Camp & Retreat Center is proud to be in operation for almost 60 years providing summer camp, retreat opportunities, and environmental education on one of the most spectacular locations on the East Coast. Original Lodges dating back as far as 1882 bring Quinipet forward to be recognized as NY State Historic Property.
Quinipet is owned and operated by the United Methodist Church and hosts thousands of guests annually.

We can accommodate all of your hospitality needs, including meal service, outdoor programming and transportation. Quinipet’s location makes it ideal for outdoor educational opportunities for youth and adults.

Quinipet has two historic retreat lodges both built in 1882. Both the Asbury House and Jesse Lee have semi-private rooms for 2 - 5 people in each room with twin size comfortable beds. The bathrooms are on the hall and are shared with neighboring rooms. These buildings have many of the orginal interior construction details and both buildings have views of the bay.

Dormitory Housing and Cabins

The Willard Complex of three units sits right on a hillcrest overlooking the Peconic Bay. Each building can be rented separately or as a package. Willard Lodge sits between Willard One and Two and has a large meeting hall and an industrial kitchen. At one end of the Lodge sits a huge fireplace and at the other end the view is framed by double doors that open out onto a seaside patio. Willard One and Two are identical, except that Willard One has a small galley kitchen. The total sleeping capacity is 72 in bunk style rooms. Each building has two sleeping areas each with 12 beds.
There are 8 cabins that can also be rented with capacities ranging from 8 to 20 inviduals per cabin.

Meeting Space - Most of the year round facilities are equipped with a TV and VCR. Each has a dry erase board and most other media outlets can be arranged for presentations. Additional space can also be provided for meetings. Our large three-season dining hall can be used for meetings, along with Wesley Hall for indoor activities in foul weather.
For interested groups, meal service is available from the Aramark Food Service Company. The company has a variety of options and will customize a menu to suit your needs. Meals are served in a central dining hall. Menus and pricing are available upon request.

Quinipet is relatively simple to get to. Whether you are driving, taking the Long Island Railroad, Sunrise bus or private boat Quinipet is very accessible.
