Pendle Hill, founded by Quakers in 1930 as a center for study and contemplation, offers spiritually renewing programs for people of all faiths throughout the year. We offer more than 50 workshops, retreats and short courses each year taught by respected, gifted teachers. Themes include spiritual life, Quaker faith and practice, religious study, social concerns, bodywork, literature and the creative arts. Every program includes opportunities for spiritual refreshment, relaxation in a lovely setting, intellectual stimulation, participation in a vibrant community, and good conversation with people from around the country and world. We also rent facilities to other groups for their retreats.
