The center is located on 35 acres in the Blue Ridge Mountains just outside of Charlottesville, Virginia. We are also midway between Wintergreen and Massanutten resort and ski areas. There are three buildings available for personal or group use. | ||
| Our mission is to provide a safe, structured place for anyone serious about examining her/his life and finding meaning. No commitment to any belief or dogma is required. All traditions are honored. Anyone can access wisdom. Thus we learn, walking together our individual paths to the truth which makes us free.

The Conference Building is ideal for group meetings, yoga, and ski groups. There is a large stone fireplace, solarium, fully-equipped kitchen, and wrap-around decks. This building sleeps 16-18.
The dormitory (stone building at rear) houses the main kitchen and dining room. It has a great room with skylights, a sleeping loft, and 6 dormitory style bedrooms that sleeps 24+. The Meditation Hall is in a 100-year-old church sanctuary. Serene and beautiful, with plain oak floors, exposed beams, large windows, and a tower bell to announce gathering times and daily meditation times. |

| Groups and Rates
The facility can be rented by groups or individuals. We can accommodate up to 45 guests inside our facilities. There is also a camping area on a plateau with a gorgeous view of the surrounding mountains and a large fire pit. We have earned a reputation for excellent food. If your group has 10 or more, meals can be arranged, or you can prepare your own meals. If your group has 20 or more, there is a participatory rate* calculated per person per night. Nightly rate decreases with longer stays. If you'd like us to prepare 1-3 meals per day for you, please contact us. (*Bring your own towels, sheets, and clean up after meals and before leaving.) |
