Mir Retreat House is a luxury 8 bedroomed detached residence which has been enviously architecturally designed, with modern contemporary styling and laid-out to maximise the breathtaking views whilst ensuring superb comfort to its occupants. One of its many features are an Indoor heated pool for physical and emotional relaxation.The house is 6,500 Sq Ft on 3 Acres
The Centre is Called 'MIR' which means PEACE in Croatian.The Centre is just 20 minutes from the Scenic Killarny.

Mir is situated in Rural Ireland, with World famous excellent Salmon fishing, Championship golf Courses just minutes away and most of all , MIR house is situated on Mt.Hillary a peaceful, relaxing and spiritually restful place.

Mir is a retreat centre owned and run by Declan Browne MA Occ Psych and his Wife AnneMarie. Declan is a Occupational Psychologist and a Theologian (from Jesuit tradition) while AnnMaire is a Councellor. They have delivered Retreat programs for the last 10 years and are now making the Centre available on a more Global stage taking in the American market. The Centre can be used in a number of ways: |

• The Centre is available for individuals to spend time , relaxation and space to regenerate oneself back into life and enjoy the slow pace of Irish rural traditional life. It has a special focus on Catholic spirituality, especially Celtic Spirituality, which is very closely aligned to Franciscan Spirituality.
• If a family wish to block book the House for the summer, this can also be catered for .
• If we meet any potential tenant wishing to rent the retreat Centre and deliver Retreats in Ireland, we are open to discuss such an avenue.
