Ghost Ranch, an education and retreat center of The Presbyterian Church (USA), grounds its life and program in reverence, hospitality for all people, and respect for creation.

Ghost Ranch was given by Arthur and Pheobe Pack to the Presbyterian Church in 1955. The 21,000 acres that comprise Ghost Ranch were part of a land grant to Pedro Martin Serrano from the King of Spain in 1766. The grant was called Piedra Lumbre (shining rock). The name "Ghost Ranch," or the local name "El Rancho de los Brujos," was derived from the many tales of ghosts and legends of hangings in the Ranch's history.

For over fifty years the Church, the staff, the National Ghost Ranch Foundation and many friends and supporters have built the programs, facilities and grounds into a nationally known study and conference center.

In this special place of red canyons, majestic mesas and amazing skies, Ghost Ranch in Abiquiu has been host to a number of meetings, conferences, and special workshops for various groups from around the world.
Come for a day, or choose to stay for several days. We provide meeting room areas, as well as overnight lodging and meals.

Our rooms are basic, no frills, but clean and comfortable with magnificent views. There are a variety of accommodations from motel style with one or two beds and full baths, to rooms with double occupancy and dormitory style baths; and camping - something for every budget. single rooms are available on a limited basis with a supplemental charge.
Rates are per person, per day (for persons coming for R&R or bringing their own group or conference) or per person, per week (Ghost Ranch courses listed on our web site catalog). This includes overnight accommodations and three meals daily, served cafeteria style, with choice of indoor or outdoor dining and vegetarian or nonvegetarian menu.
Accessible accommodations are available.
Casa del Sol offers an adobe hacienda style home with accommodations for up to 8 people, some rooms are double occupancy. This quiet location of solitude and reflection is some distance from the main Ghost Ranch facilities. Ghost Ranch in Santa Fe provides a quiet oasis, with friendly staff, in the midst of the city, three blocks from the historic Santa Fe Plaza in the heart of the nation’s oldest state capital.
Our comfortable adobe style building is single-level, and handicapped accessible. It is a small conference center with the feel of a European “pension", a home away from home, where hospitality is paramount.

It is a place you can escape the demands of a busy life, relax and enjoy time in a quiet, Southwestern setting. It is the perfect setting for family reunions, training events, retreats and other group events.

Ghost Ranch in Santa Fe can accommodate 70 overnight guests, double occupancy. Our sleeping rooms are simply furnished with two beds, and do not contain televisions or telephones. Rooms have a double and twin bed, toilet, sink, and shower. Single occupancy rooms are offered on a space available basis only. Ghost Ranch in Santa Fe is wheelchair accessible.
Our facility has five conference rooms of various sizes, two of which can comfortably seat up to 70 people with theater seating.
