Surrounded by 100,000 acres of National Forest and 30,000 acres of wilderness area, Cohutta Springs is an ideal conference setting for churches, educational institutions, civic organizations, and families.

Lodging Facilities

Centered around a tranquil 55-acre lake, there are 84 lakefront rooms. Each room includes one king-size or two queen beds, a color television, and private bath. For those who prefer a more rustic setting, 12 cabins are nestled on a wooded hillside. Breathtaking views can be seen from our two cozy chalets.

Dining

Our dining facility offers a relaxing atmosphere for enjoying our widely-acclaimed cuisine. The spacious auditorium comfortably seats 500 people. Nine additional meeting and conference rooms complete with audio-visual services are available in our lodge.

Recreation

Our vast facility also provides a wide variety of recreational activities for both individuals and groups. Activities such as basketball, volleyball, and badminton are available in our gymnasium. Two beautifully-maintained tennis courts are at your group's dispoal, and our picnic pavilion provides a wonderful gathering place. Enjoy the beauty of our natural surroundings by hiking or horseback riding on the mountain trails.

Outdoor Education

Programs are enhanced by our wildlife rehabilitation center, cave exploration, low and high ropes courses, and rock climbing. Water activities, such as skiing, boating, and swimming provide a refreshing change of pace.
