BLACK MOUNTAIN PRESERVE and RETREAT CENTER is located in the Russian River area of Sonoma County and offers reasonably-priced group retreat facilities for up to 250 participants.

THE SETTING -- NATURE ABOUNDS
The Black Mountain Center is nestled amongst 485 acres of coastal redwood and oak woodlands with hilltop meadows, ocean views and creeks, all easily accessible by wide paths or deer trails. We are committed to keeping Black Mountain Preserve and Retreat Center a pristine wildlife and forest area. We actively promote and practice the ethically and ecologically sound use of resources. You are invited to come here and experience all that this special place has to offer.

FACILITIES
Our facilities include several indoor meeting rooms, a large performing arts space, a meditation room, library, and outdoor spaces -- sunny picnic spots or shaded meeting areas, all with woodland views. A firepit for evening get-togethers is usable all year. Wireless internet is available. We are a 100% non-smoking facility. |

LODGING
Our center provides a variety of lodgings, from the lovely, fully-equipped eight-bedroom Tara House, with a beautiful suite, to the comfortable Manzanita Rooms which have semi-private rooms or spacious shared sleeping areas. Windows loook out at the hillsides or the central garden. |

RETREATS, WORKSHOPS, GATHERINGS
Our center has hosted many diverse groups --- yoga/health practitioners, university choirs, leadership trainers, permaculture designers, spiritual teachers retreats and family reunions. |

DINING SERVICE
In our large commercial kitchen our friendly staff creates nourishing dishes based on the flavors of Mediterranean, Asian and Californian cuisines. We also cater to a variety of dietary choices and needs. |
