The two and a half story, 3000+/- square foot home is wide open inside; the Great Room is open to the south to the full height of the 30 foot (10 meter) peaked ceiling, while on the north side a cable suspended balcony with a full length railing of rare Honduran mahogany is framed by full height fir tree timbers.
To the west is a generous and well lit kitchen, with restaurant grade stainless steel faced appliances and an informal dining area. The master bedroom and bathroom are also upstairs on the western end, and both have several large view windows. Throughout the house special care has been given to the fixtures and fittings, including original hand made lighting shades, wood panelled doors with brushed nickel fittings, fluted glass double front entry, and a unique custom built ceiling fan controlled by remote.
Other Facilities
 The amateur Observatory is located about a quarter mile from the Main House on a natural outcropping of rock, which sheers off on either side to 2 different creeks 500 feet below. The Guest House is right next to the Observatory, perfect for visiting astronomers. The Barn is a comfortable and well built home for a pair of equine friends, should you want them for your explorations of the estate. The Bunkhouse is a short distance from the Main House, and is the original home on the estate, built in 1996. This cozy 500 square foot self contained home is perfect for ranch hands or guests, and features creative arrangements of traditional spaces. The Shop, a short walk from the Main House, is a 2000 square foot insulated metal building on a concrete pad with forced air heat.
