Nestled in the Costa Rican jungle, Hacienda Del Sol has been providing healing treatments since 1995. The resort, which spans across five acres, not only provides treatment for guests; it also doubles as a certified instructional center.
The retreat is the premier location for the Kootenay School of Rebalancing and provides training in yoga and dietary nutrition. For nearly two decades, Hacienda Del Sol has helped guests rejuvenate, re-energize and reconnect with their body, mind and spirit.
Amenities
 Hacienda Del Sol offers comfortable, safe and luxurious accommodations. Situated on five acres of beautifully landscaped tropical property, Hacienda Del Sol offers its clients the full range of amenities including:
- 6 hot showers & 7 bathrooms
- Clay bath, yoga deck and suntanning deck
- Office space
- Laundry facilities washing machine and laundry room)
- Storage space
- 10 massage tables
- Kitchen equipment, fridges, stoves, electrical appliances
- Hammocks
- Trampoline
- 5 colonic cleansing beds
- Wireless internet connection, please bring your own laptop.
Cabina Living
 Hacienda Del Sol's lodging includes 12 cabinas which accommodate 28 people. Each cabina has been designed with a blend of tropical beauty and modern comfort. All accommodations are equipped with electricity, hammocks and mosquito nets are available upon request.
Each cabina is cool and comfortable. A veranda with chairs and hammocks allows clients to experience the full range of tropical experiences
Buddha Hall
The Buddha Hall offers 1600 square feet of open space for your retreat experience. All the buildings have been designed with high thatched palm roofs providing cool comfort in the warm tropical climate of Costa Rica!
Restaurant
The restaurant offers a healthy and nutritious variety of foods. With seating for up to 40 guests, families, couples and groups are able to enjoy sensual meals. Special dietary needs can be arranged before your stay.
Local tropical fruits, vegetables, and seafood are prepared in a health-conscious, nutritious manner to satisfy every palette! We meet the needs of individual diets and cater to groups as well.

We offer a retreat sort of setting where you have a four and seven day retreat. You get a variety of things to Work in helping you to find that eternal longing we all are looking for: Massage, Yoga, Card readings, Hikes, trips to water falls , Indiguous village, visit a Herbal Shaman, A Dream Vision Shaman (some of Shamanic rite adventures are extra cost). All this so you can learn to create from the heart. This journey is not for those looking for someone to show them the way its all about you as a creator creating your own way.
We have two rooms and we can look after about four people at a time. So if you are looking for the spiritual aspect of coming to a rain forest this may be just what you had signed up for along time ago.
Every moment is a new growth experience as we learn to turn the unknown into the known.
