|
We offer as much, or as little, activity as you desire. It is as much a place for contemplative walks along pristine trails, as it is for invigorating field games. Our resident naturalist organizes horticultural programs and wildlife walks seasonally. Visitors also enjoy canoeing, swimming, volleyball, frisbee golf, lake and fly-fishing, and tennis. Five scenic golf courses are within 30 minutes driving distance.

| ALPINE TOWER ROPES COURSE - Looking for a place to do teambuilding? Lake Logan Episcopal Center is the place to come. Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, just minutes from Asheville, North Carolina, rests the tranquil LifeWay Ridgecrest Conference Center. Natural stone buildings and thick mountain laurel create a restful charm throughout the campus. The sunrises are spectacular, with ambient colors reflecting off the mountain mist.
Ridgecrest’s beautiful 1,300 acre campus climbs from valley to mountaintop, offering elegant comfort in guest lodging and meeting space for over 2,000 people.Since its founding almost one-hundred years ago, Ridgecrest, a Christ-centered ministry, has welcomed millions of guests. It’s spacious facilities are the choice location for conferences and events from 10 to 2,000.
Ridgecrest is where people come to look into the mountains and listen to God. Lives suddenly change. Priorities become realigned. And organizational goals give way to God’s perfect will.
From deluxe hotel rooms to newly remodeled youth housing, Ridgecrest offers a variety of accommodations to meet specific needs and budgets. The quality of one’s conference obviously begins with the comfort and functionality of the meeting facilities. With over 80,000 square feet of meeting space including four spacious auditoriums, Ridgecrest is ideal for virtually any sized event.
Ridgecrest’s cafeteria and dining room is centrally located within the Rhododendron Hall assuring attendees a very short walk from virtually every lodging venue. The cafeteria includes eight serving lines to accommodate large groups quickly and efficiently. The spacious dining room seats well over 800 people.
|
No matter how beautifully constructed the meeting space or guest rooms might be, they quickly pale in comparison to what God so masterfully created on the outside. Ridgecrest outdoors, is absolutely beautiful. Tennis courts, volleyball courts, ball diamonds and recreational fields are all blanketed by the panoramic mountains around them. There’s even a miniature golf course that winds its way along a tiny mountain stream.
|
| A wonderful diversity of classroom space provides meeting planners with ultimate flexibility through 85 breakout rooms and four, large general conference areas. |
| The recently completed Mountain Laurel Inn offers the finest in guest accommodations including telephones with voice mail messaging systems, irons and ironing boards, coffee makers and easily accessible dataports to stay within an e-mail’s reach of home or office. Mountain Laurel’s lower level includes five classrooms and a large 214-seat auditorium. |
| While the dining hall does an excellent job managing large groups efficiently, Ridgecrest also excels in designing custom banquets for a more intimate atmosphere. |
| Wait until you see the hiking trails. White oak and red maple trees seem to reach to the clouds. Evergreens blanket the trails with dropped pine cones. And the mountain laurel grows so thick in places, it creates a lush umbrella over the entire pathway. |
