Marywood is equipped to handle any large or small function for your church, community or business group including wedding, receptions and family reunions.
The host of facilities provide for a wide variety of retreat and/or conference possibilities.
Listed below is a partial list of our facilities:

Housing: When it comes to staying overnight, Marywood has 60 motel style bedrooms available for single or double occupancy all with private baths.

  • Most rooms have one twin and one double bed, a small desk, dresser and table with two chairs.
  • All are equipped with individual air-conditioned/heating units for your own personal comfort.
  • We have three separate buildings each with 20 bedrooms surrounding a conference room.

Meeting Rooms: Marywood can handle a variety of meeting space needs.

  • Our River Room is a large rectangular space that accommodates up to 100 people with a view of the St John’s River.
  • The Wisdom Center opens up to accommodate 180 persons, but can also divide into 3 separate sections to handle 50 people each.
  • Our small conference rooms located in the center of the sleeping room buildings are equipped with an ice maker, refrigerator, sink, microwave, coffee maker, TV DVD/VCR and can accommodate up to 40 people.

Marywood’s Chapel: Our newly renovated chapel located on the south end of the large stone house, seats up to 100 people with a spectacular view of the St John’s River. All religious denominations are welcome to schedule times for prayer services or mass.

The Marywood campus includes just over 100 acres of pristine woodlands on the banks of the beautiful St. John’s River. The river is also one of only 14 in the country awarded the prestigious American Heritage River Award for historical and ecological significance. The magnificent sunsets from our 600 foot dock will provide a peaceful way for you end your day. Marywood’s ¾ mile nature trail, and Stations of the Cross, is another beautiful way to experience nature at its best. That and much more await you at Marywood.

Dining: Our delicious buffet meals are freshly prepared by our executive chef and skilled kitchen staff, and include a variety of gourmet delights with a spectacular view of the St John’s River.
Swimming Pool / Picnic Area: Our large pool is a cool treat on a hot day and our ample picnic area is ideal for church, community/nonprofit organization and corporate groups alike. Our overnight guests can also enjoy our pool during their free time when the pool is not in use by groups.
Camp: Before there was a Marywood, there was Camp St. John. The original facility on our campus, Camp St. John hosts youth events like Camp Risk and Camp I-am-Special. The Camp is located on the north end of our property and is a self contained facility that can sleep 72 people dormitory style. In addition to the two dormitories, a full commercial kitchen, dining room, meeting room, chapel and screened in pavilion are available for your use. Marywood’s Camp St. John welcomes adult events and is ideal to those who enjoy or favor a more rustic atmosphere.
