As a Spiritual/Life Guide and founding director of The Center for Well Being in Austin, TX, Kate has created and facilitated transformational experiences throughout the U.S since 1992. Through her journey as a healing guide for others, as well as speaker, writer, sage, minister, coach, and mother of two, she has developed a very REAL and powerful approach to life as a CHOICE
"Whether we have it all or we have nothing, we always have a choice.
That simple truth changes everything!"
~ Kate Bares-Johnson

Anne Province
Spiritual Direction
Austin, Texas
A spiritual director is a companion or soul friend for another as that person opens to grace and grows in awareness of the presence of the Holy. The focus is on experience, not ideas, and specifically on an experience of the mysterious Other whom we call God.

Retreats and Spiritual Direction
Way of the Wolf Ranch invites you to consider the use of this beautiful facility during your planning for individual or small group spiritual retreat. You may provide your own material or we will work with you to specifically design a program around your interests. This setting lends itself to meditation, contemplation, reflection and re-creation. Your hosts, Ron & Karen, have formal training in spiritual direction from the Shalem Institute of Spiritual Formation in Bethesda, Maryland, and have led several groups introducing contemplative prayer forms.
Ron & Karen both have attended a number of workshops in spiritual formation and attended classes at the Anglican School of Theology in Dallas and the Vancouver School of Theology in British Columbia, Canada. They have also been active in the renewal movement within the Episcopal Church for over 20 years. They have participated in the formation of The Oriental Orthodox Order in the West. It exists to express hospitality, generosity of heart and solidarity of spirit with all in every circumstance of life as the pathway that connects the inner and the outer worlds. |
