David Rothstein, certified spiritual director
My faith tradition is Catholic, though I work with people from various traditions, and no tradition--people who are just seeking. I am grounded in Benedictine spirituality, having been a Benedictine monk for many years. I have studied widely in theology and spirituality, and received my certificate in spiritual direction from the Christos Center for Spiritual Formation in St. Paul, MN. I also have a PhD in English literature and was a professor of English for 8 years. Literature informs my spirituality, as does nature, community, centering prayer, and lectio divina. I am currently in dialogue with others about forming a contemplative-ecological community. I also have experience in dreamwork and guidance through life transitions. My home is in St. Paul, MN.

Hello, I’m Barbara Scherek Jr., and I would like to share a bit about myself.
I am a nature lover, artist, author, music composer, Ordained Minister, Certified Healing Touch, and Spring Forest Qi Gong practitioner.
Interest in communication between cultures led me to study several languages and has brought me around the world to Spain, Mexico, Israel, Jordan, Egypt, China, India, and Thailand.
I have received a Bachelor of Science in Applied Design (with a Visual Communications emphasis) from the University of Minnesota, with a minor in the Chinese (Mandarin) language.
My focus in recent years is self-publishing meditation, rhyming story and educational coloring books to encourage people to relax, unwind, and play through coloring. My experience has shown that such creative visualization assists personality integration and promotes self-healing.
