Built in 1924 as Scarritt College, a missionary training school, today Scarritt-Bennett Center is a non-profit center committed to social justice issues. Income from rental of our historic facilities helps us to present a variety of programs throughout the year focusing on social justice issues, cultural diversity, women's empowerment and interfaith understanding. We also offer several programs, including retreats, throughout the year.

Conveniently located on 10 tree-filled acres in the heart
of Nashville, Scarritt-Bennett Center is the perfect place for your next meeting,conference or retreat. The gothic architecture, beautiful grounds and warm hospitality provide a peaceful environment.

Accomodations:Affordable overnight accommodations are available for up to 139 people in three Gothic-style buildings on 10 peaceful acres in the heart of Nashville. Once a college campus, the Center’s converted residence halls have private bedrooms with shared baths. Our renovated rooms in Gibson Hall are equipped with televisions and high-speed Internet access. Groups and individuals are welcome.

Meetings:

• 25 meeting, break-out rooms and auditorium ranging in capacity from 4 –to 250 people are available for your retreat or group event.
